Festival geography reaches from Central Asia to East Asia, including the former Soviet republics, Iran, India, South-East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. When it comes to co-productions, this space is extended until Europe, USA and Latin America, provided that any of the countries belong to one of the Asian geographical areas are involved in the co-production of the presented film.

Both short and long of any kind are accepted.

Official competition section: the competing films must have been produced after 2015

Panorama section: bringing together productions recently made the selection committee deemed of interest;

Retrospective section in a special issue includes guest country and / or selection dedicated to a particular director;

Special section for films that are unmarked in sections above, but may be relevant to expand the spectator’s view relating to the production of Asian cinema.

Discoveries Section is added with those unpublished or undiscovered films.

Art Cinema, moving image and visual arts devoted to Asian filmmakers with an artistic career.

English subtitles are required.
