The biennial International Architecture Film Award for films (fiction, documentaries, feature films, short films) relating to the different dimensions of
the project at different scales: architecture, urban building, and landscape planning. The purpose of the Award is to encourage the production of cinematographic works on these subjects and to encourage and motivate architects in the use of audiovisual language as a means of communication.

Participation is open to persons over 21 years of age of any nationality. Their works must have been carried out during the 2016-2019 three-year period (finalized between January 2016 and June 2019).

Films must be in the original language, with subtitles in English. Subtitles in other languages are optional.

ARCHITECTURE'S FILM

For medium-length and feature films about ancient, modern and contemporary architecture.

STUDIO'S FILM

For audio-visual projects commissioned by design firms to promote their projects.

OUT-OF-COMPETITION

With the themes of Design, Architecture, City Planning, Sustainability, each edition devotes a special out-of-competition curatorship into an indepth interdisciplinary theme, carried out by a recognised professional.
